Jumper is a bridge aggregator — instead of picking one bridge and hoping it’s the best route, Jumper searches across many bridges and DEXs to find you the cheapest or fastest way to move crypto between blockchains. It’s powered by LI.FI, a well-known bridging infrastructure protocol.
If you’ve never bridged before, Jumper’s clean interface makes it one of the gentler starting points. Here’s how to use it from scratch.

Step 1 — Open the real site. Type jumper.exchange into your browser yourself, then bookmark it. Bridge aggregators are heavily impersonated by phishing sites with near-identical designs — your bookmark is your shield. Never arrive via a link from social media, a DM, or an ad.
Step 2 — Connect your wallet. Click “Connect wallet” and choose your wallet app (MetaMask, Rabby, Phantom, etc.). You’ll only be asked to connect — a legitimate site never asks for your seed phrase.
Making a Transfer
Step 3 — Choose your source. Select the blockchain you’re sending from and the token you want to move (for example, USDC on Arbitrum).
Step 4 — Choose your destination. Select the chain you’re sending to and the token you want to receive (for example, USDC on Base, or ETH on Optimism). Paste your receiving address — usually your own wallet address on the destination chain — and double-check it.
Step 5 — Pick a route. Jumper ranks routes by cost, speed, or output. “Cheapest” isn’t always best — a slightly pricier route with a more established bridge can be worth it. Click a route to see which bridges it uses.
Step 6 — Review and confirm. Check the estimated output, total fees, and time. Then approve the token spend in your wallet and confirm the transaction. Keep the tab open until Jumper marks the transfer complete — closing early doesn’t lose funds, but you’ll want the tracking view.
Step 7 — Verify arrival. Switch your wallet to the destination network and confirm the tokens arrived. If anything looks stuck, Jumper’s interface links to the transaction on block explorers so you can see where it is. New to how bridges actually work under the hood? Our bridge trust-model guide explains what you’re trusting on each route.
Fees and Safety Notes
Jumper adds no separate fee on most routes — costs come from the underlying bridges, DEXs, and gas. Leave a little margin: gas shifts, and transfers take anywhere from minutes to over an hour.
The real risks: phishing clones of the site, unlimited token approvals (approve only what’s needed), and wrong addresses. Remember: safety ultimately depends on the bridge on your route — favor established ones. Our SOL-to-BNB walkthrough shows a similar careful flow.

The Bottom Line
Jumper makes bridging approachable: type the real URL, connect your wallet, choose where tokens go from and to, pick a sensible route, and confirm. Start with a test transfer, verify arrival, and you’ll have the whole flow down in minutes. This guide is for education only — not financial advice.
